  • WARNING: If you’re using bitstamp, get out while you can, especially after the Robinhood takeover!

I’m not one to post online for bad service, but what’s going on with Bitstamp has me livid.

I have trusted Bitstamp for personal and business accounts for over 7 years, if you are reading this, my suggestion is to move away asap. Since Robinhood’s acquisition, their service has tanked. My funds are frozen despite full KYC compliance, and their support is a maddening loop of empty promises. This isn’t just incompetence.

I’m urging everyone: move your assets NOW before Bitstamp’s decline under Robinhood screws you too. They are withholding my company’s funds, while telling me that there should be no problem, and aren’t even able to provide an explanation.

    Ticket: BIT-2204977

    – June 2021: Activation of the Bitstamp account. Completion of the first KYC procedure.

    – October 2023: Completion of an additional KYC update.

    – January 2025: Request from Bitstamp for an update on estimated trading volumes.

    – July 18, 2025: Submission of detailed requested estimated volumes.

    – July 22, 2025: Closure of support ticket BIT-2098156 with confirmation of the completed data update.
In 4 separate phone conversations, Bitstamp representatives confirmed that: The account should not have any operational restrictions. The matter would be flagged as priority. Opening of a new follow-up ticket BIT-2204977.

    – July 23, 2025 (6:00 PM): Customer support asks to try withdrawing again, but it still does not work.

    – July 24, 2025 (10:00 AM): 48 hours after ticket closure and 4 business days from submission, withdrawals remain disabled.

  • Leaving for a trip to Brisbane next year…and have never done an international trip to Australia yet. I’m not familiar with Qantas at all, and have only done mostly domestic with Legacy airlines. Has anyone flown Delta or Qantas (or others) that can advise which was the better choice for this 14-17 hr flight?

    Please in detail describe….
    -Which did you choose
    -Why would you recommend it?
    • Food, amenities, cleanliness, SEAT COMFORT, flight crew etc.

  • With technology ever-evolving, the future of AI in the U.S. hinges on how lawmakers and technologists address these challenges. It’s a pivotal moment for stakeholders at all levels—from policymakers to industry leaders—to collaborate in crafting regulations that foster innovation while safeguarding public interest.

By closely monitoring the evolution of these federal policies, states and businesses can better prepare for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. As we move forward, the conversation about AI regulation will remain a critical discourse, shaping the trajectory of technological progress in the nation.

  • Hi guys, I am requesting your support in helping us grow a larger audience by sharing our twitter page. It is a brand new page so we are just getting started with followers.

All we do is share unused holiday packages to interested travellers so they can find a last minute deal and help those who are no longer able to go make their money back. In order to do this we need to grow our audience. If you could give us a follow and a share to help us start off it would be greatly appreciated. u/LastMinHol https://twitter.com/LastMinHol

  • Hey everyone,

I’ve been working as a computer vision engineer for about 2 years, mostly doing object detection, tracking, OCR, and similar projects. Lately though, I’ve gotten more interested in NLP and I’m thinking about switching fields.

So far I’ve been learning on my own — I’ve built a few chatbots, trained custom NER models using spaCy, and played around with Hugging Face transformers like `bert-base-cased`. I’ve also made small apps using Streamlit and FastAPI for tasks like summarization, sentiment analysis, translation, etc.

Now I’m planning to apply for NLP jobs, but I’m not exactly sure what kind of projects would make my profile stronger. Also wondering:

    * What kinds of NLP projects would be good to showcase in a portfolio?
    * How’s the NLP job market these days? Is it better to go for more general ML roles?
    * What should I focus on when preparing for interviews — what kind of technical questions usually come up?
    * Any advice or tips from folks who’ve made a similar switch?

Would really appreciate any suggestions or experiences you’re willing to share. Thanks!
