• No Italian, French or Spanish would pay 7€ for shipping, so we cover 2€ (and have checkout abandonment at around 40% for orders that don’t get free shipping). I thought getting a fulfilment center and with the volume they send would save us at least a little bit on shipping (they all brag about 15-30% savings on shipping due to their volume on their landing pages), but these rates are disastrous. They average at 15€ for a neighbouring country, with the lowest being 2€ above ours. Some even charge more for domestic shipping than what we are paying right now, sending across the border.

Some Italian ones don’t offer COD even for their domestic market (and the amount of COD shipments there is around 20%… 1/5 of all purchases). Haven’t yet found a single one that would offer COD in both Spain and Italy.

Anyone know any solid ones that would cover these 3 countries?

I’ve contacted 9 different ones so far.

    Thank you

  • # Is it okay to put all my effort in running and maintaining a single strategy or its always better to diversify running and maintaining multiple strategies?

I’m just wondering so because it’s really hard for me to focus on multiple things. My personality makes me hyperfocus to a single thing all the time so making a different thing makes me cringe a little lol

  • ### What This Means for You

Rediscovering the world’s smallest snake is a reminder of the hidden wonders that still exist around the globe. Next time you’re exploring nature, take a moment to appreciate the ground beneath your feet. Who knows, you might be standing over a whole world of tiny, hidden secrets waiting to be rediscovered!

In conclusion, the reemergence of this elusive snake is a beacon of hope and a reminder of the enduring mysteries of our natural world. The world’s smallest snake has found its way back to the cultural and scientific imagination, illustrating that even the smallest creatures can make a big impact. Let’s cherish and protect our biodiversity, for there’s always more to nature than meets the eye.

  • I am in the early stages of building a new, large-scale sci-fi gaming universe. We’re passionate about players having true ownership of their assets and history within the game.

I’ve reached a fundamental decision point and would love to get the community’s gut feeling on it. There are two main paths we can take for the underlying technology, and each has big implications.

Path A: The Custom Blockchain (A new L1)
This means we build our own blockchain from the ground up, specifically for our game.
The Vibe: Total independence. Everything from the tokenomics to the transaction speeds would be fine-tuned perfectly for our game’s economy and gameplay. It signals a massive, long-term commitment because we’re not just building a game, we’re building its entire home.
The Risk: It’s a huge undertaking. Security has to be built from scratch, and in the beginning, it would be an isolated ecosystem.

Path B: Building on Ethereum (As an App-Chain/L2)
This means we use established technology to create our own dedicated chain that plugs directly into Ethereum for security.
The Vibe: Part of a larger, secure nation. We get the legendary security of Ethereum from day one, and it’s easier to connect with the wider world of crypto assets and users. We can focus all our resources on making the game itself amazing.
The Risk: We don’t have 100% total control; we’re still building on someone else’s foundation. It might be seen as less ambitious by some.

So, my question to you all is:
As a player, which path gives you more confidence in a new project? Does the idea of a fully sovereign, game-specific chain excite you more, or does the safety and interconnectedness of Ethereum feel like a smarter, more secure bet for your time and assets?

Really interested to hear your unfiltered thoughts. Thanks!

  • My understanding is that option liquidity comoves with the underlying stock liquidity, and such comovement should be more pronounced near expiration due to more trading activities. How come in the Indian option market, the expiry day spike in option liquidity does not propagate to the underlying stock liquidity, which allowed Jane Street to manipulate?

  • Hi, I m 22M Indian. Recently I watched on yt about the summer of BTC thing and watched a few ppl who have like 100k$ offer just after graduating and the niche is ofc web3, watching this a few of my friends have started to learn web3. I am having my placement season in a month almost and the companies visiting my campus are pretty decent like 8lpa-7 lpa for SDE freshers. What should I do? Like I am a knight on leetcode so I am good at DSA but my development is not that great I have built a few projects but all of them were guided ones so not that strong. I feel like web3 has a lot of money and potential maybe there will be a huge demand for rust and tech stack similar to that but idk should I go for web3 as it can be risky bcoz I really don’t see many companies in indian hiring ppl in that niche at least in my knowledge. What is the future? for those who are in tech and know closely about the web3 thing. An instructor told BTC is a shallow as indian govt wont let money ever get decentralised else they will lose upon the most important resource that is of money. WYD? Please have a minute to reply.

  • Most of them choke on the switch, especially if the base language is non-Western.

Has anyone seen success with ASR models that support multilingual code-switching out of the box? I know Whisper supports a bunch of languages, but the transition quality hasn’t been great for me.

Would love to hear what others have tried (or what research points to something promising).
