  • Quick question out of curiosity:

Does Adsbot obey a global (“\*”) disallow? In their doc (List of Google’s special-case crawlers) I found following passage: `AdsBot` ignores the global robots.txt user agent (`*`) with the ad publisher’s permission.

Any ideas what “with the ad publisher’s permission.” means? In other docs google explicitly states that \* does not affect adsbot crawling.

  • As the title states, new to drop shipping but want to learn and very eager to. Currently in the process of product selection and very stuck. Maybe because I was following behind a few YouTube “gurus”, but using AutoDS to spot product market trends and attack from there. After 2 days no luck, I’m not giving up but I’m interested in learning a different maybe an even more effective way to find winning products. Any advice is appreciated

  • Hi all!

I was curious as to whether how realistic it would be to take solo weekend trips to new cities.

For example, would flying out on a Friday night and flying back in on a Sunday (because we still have bills to pay and limited PTO lol) be feasible?

I’m sure this is heavily individual reliant, but I’d love to hear any experiences or stories anyone may have on balancing their M-F 8-5 and still trying to explore!

I haven’t received much as I’ve always made the excuse of “time, money, work, dishes in the sink” but I’d really like to change that this year and gain more worldly experience and perspective by solo traveling 🙂

Examples of cities I plan to potentially spend a weekend in:

    Chicago, IL

    NYC (self explanatory)

    Portland, OR

Short list for now but I’m also open to suggestions 🙂 I don’t rlly care for tourist attractions much and would prefer to visit and act like a local (as I’m also doing this to scope out new cities to move to).

I’m also doing this to mentally prepare traveling and flying by myself as I’m planning a big trip to Japan in February of next year! Aaaaa, I’m so excited but so nervous.

  • I should begin by disclosing that I have a very respectful position of ETH and BTH and started stacking ETH at around $2,200. I’ve always been a momentum investor and right now, after doing a decent dive of due diligence I’m confident that both BTC and ETC are going to make some exceptional gains.

Yeah, the tech is cool but if you step back for a few minutes you might be able to see just how dangerous it is for our personal freedoms. ETH more so than BTC. Over the past six months an unprecedented amount of our personal data that has always been segmented into individual silos has been correlated into single and very broad reaching individual dossiers. I’m talking everything, biometrics, spending, online conduct including social media, employment, voting, civil conduct… I’m talking absolutely EVERYTHING. The uprising of the “Tech Bros” is a very real thing. For those that aren’t aware I’d invite you to do some research on Peter Thiel and Palantir. This is the company whose stock shot up from $12 to $145 in just months. All because they are doing, under Federal contracts, exactly what I’ve described.

Now not only are we about to surrender our money to the “Tech Bros” they have an extremely friendly government behind them. I’ve made my entire career based on Tech from the age of 17 and my philosophy has always been “what‘s next” and I’ve made a very successful career doing that, mostly hooking up with specific management teams doing start-ups And what I’m absolutely 100% confident about is that these technologies will indeed replace our fiat currency. Especially ETH and stablecoins. BTW, I’m buying as much as I possibly can and I know that you’ve watched the insane amount of corporate and institutional inflows, well, that’s for a reason. How many of you have read The Genius Act? That is some scary legislation. In summary, what we‘re doing is handing over the reins to these companies while saying out loud, “Nah, we don’t need to not just Monitor you but we won’t protect the consumer at all. You’re free to do what ever you wish for the next 10 years.

I know that many will disagree but I see this as one of the most dangerous events/periods in America’s history with regards to our personal freedoms. I’m very open to hearing your opinions.

  • Hey everyone 👋 This is my first post here 😀

I published a guide on fine-tuning YOLO models for custom object detection, showing how to transform a generic 80-class detector into a specialized system (using soccer match analysis as an example).

A bit of context: I’ve been working on a YOLO library for Elixir that supports custom models via ONNX format. Since the library can load any custom YOLO model, I created this content to show how to train your own models using Ultralytics’ tooling. The approach is language-agnostic – the resulting model works with any framework supporting PyTorch or ONNX, though I demonstrate Elixir integration at the end.

This fine-tuning approach applies to various industries where domain-specific object detection is needed – sports analytics, manufacturing QC, etc.

  • Every company experiences fluctuations, and for Tesla, this latest earnings report is a wake-up call. However, it could also serve as a catalyst, driving the company to refine its strategies and strengthen its market position. Despite the current setback, Tesla’s commitment to innovation and sustainable energy solutions positions it well to navigate these challenges.

As always, only time will tell how Tesla will respond. They’ve surprised us before, and they might just do it again. Keep an eye on their journey—there’s surely more to come.

  • Hi everyone:

I want to take a trip to Switzerland in the next year or two and I’m looking for some feedback on my budget and itinerary.

**Where am I coming from?** Vancouver Island, BC, Canada

**When do I plan to go?** Spring/summer

**Who am I bringing?** Just myself

**How long am I planning to stay?** 9 days with flights included

**What type of lodging do I prefer?** B&B, AirBNB, or hotels.

**Food?** I’ll probably eat somewhere nice once or twice. Other than that, I’m mostly going to be buying food from a grocery store.

**What do I want to do?** Bungee jumping off the Verzasca dam (dam jump from the 007 movie Goldeneye) and driving/biking/hiking the Furka Pass (from Goldfinger) are the two big activities. The aerial trams and trains look pretty cool too. Other than that, I’m mostly going to be exploring and sightseeing. Is there anything else in Switzerland that may interest me?

**Budget?** Would $5000 CAD including airfare and car rental be a realistic budget for what I have planned?

    Thanks!
